ID

i recently learned that the Ontario health card is no longer accepted as a form of ID for drinking, and without a drivers licence i need a new way to prove my age. my friend told me about 'the age of majority' card that the LCBO gives, but the requirements to get this card are ridiculous. A passport photo, a copy of a birth certificate AND a guarantor who must be of a certain profession that you have known for at least two years in order to get this card. i have never left canada so ive never had a need for a passport so how on earth do i give you a passport photo?this is too much just to prove that i am of legal age. its totally unfair to the population who dont have drivers licences. theres got to be an easier way to do this. if anyone know of one, please feel free to tell me.
